Findster pet tracker is an awesome product. From day one I have used it with my dog and I love the badges and ability to tracker my dog while on a walk. What is even better os the virtual vet service that comes along with in for a fee monthly. I can ask a quick question at any time and get great guidance for my pet. Excellent product. Kudos!

Works great to monitor dog while walking off leash. Findster works as designed. I have a forest property and take dogs off leash. Before the walk I turn on. Getting a good gps location requires contact with three satellites. It will not work if the dog is taken indoors. It cannot be left on all the time, because the battery will run down. I am surprised it works as well as it does in the forest, when the trees are full of leaves. There are a lot of videos on the findster website for details

We use Findster mainly for our dogs and Mexico, where we live totally off the grid. We don't need cell phone or Internet, once all the modules are paired with our phone. We really love it.

Horrible and insulting customer service, the worst ever. They charged be for a monthly subscription without permission and refused to refund it. This took 30 emails, and they never addressed what I was asking for and in the process insulted me by saying 'don't you know how to read' when in fact the agent never has read what I was asking for. Just sent me a label to return the product. I had to file a complaint with my credit card company to get the subscription refunded. Product does not work for what I need it for, real time tracking in the woods. 2 mins after I put it on, my dog took off after a deer and Findster could never find him or me. Sometimes the app does not locate one or both of us. When working, it updates tracking about every 20–30 seconds. Will not work in wooded areas. Findster pet module can get lost if dogs are playing Light weight, compact did not test if for range, the Whistle works a little better but costs more, Dogtra Pathfinder or Pathfinder Mini works perfectly, 2 sec GPS update, 9 mi range, but cost more, much bigger unit.
