I'm a total noob when it comes to smoking and low and slow cooking but the FireBoard system helped me cook one of my best BBQs yet. The blower fan was the perfect tool for keeping the temp within 5°c of target. The app worked great for keeping track of the ambient and meat temp, and it was able to pick up the main unit wirelessly first go. Overall, I'm really happy with it.

Really great app for a great way to control the temp not only on a charcoal grill but also works great on with the fireboard built into my Yoder ys640s. Even used it to monitor cooks in my oven. The best part is being able to set programs in the app so that it will automatically change temps depending on time elapsed or on internal temp of the meat I cook.

Logged me out in the middle of cooking and now I can't get into it. Forgot password isn't working or anything, app needs some serious work. Had to find an old version of the software just to connect the board to my Wi-Fi.

After a few months, I start it up to use. User and password required... Was able to use it locally before, now I can't. Tried to get a password change since I don't remember. App won't do that either. Tried to set up a new account just to use the temp & fan. Nope, it won't let me do that either. Cloud based BBQ, HHH... Up yours, Fireboard, with a hot coal...

Abysmal app. Lock screen notifications don't update on Pixel 9 pro, alerts and alarms never work unless device is unlocked, etc. All notifications are set to allow and no battery optimization is on, app just sucks.
