The app works well, but it would be great if there was a section where you could add user notes about how you smoked meats, so you can go back and review for future smoking.

This works great. It's super convenient to check the temp while doing other things. The app is awesome and the grill is even better. 4/5 bc sometimes it doesn't set the timer immediately, and I have to it manually, but overall it's great

TO SOLVE CONNECTION ISSUES: To ensure the app works properly with your Master built Electric Smoker, connect smoker to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Both the SSID and password must be 15 characters or fewer, and the password cannot include special characters. What worked for me: I enabled a 2.4GHz guest network, used a short SSID, and an 11-character password without special characters, totaling 14 characters for both. This solved my connection issues. I have the Master built 710 Electric Smoker.

After moving my Gravity 1150 Smoker it has picked up Wi-Fi and my app is working great. The antenna is not the greatest at getting a signal but if it's in the right place it does work. So this review has been updated a week later because it is working.

This app never wants to connect. It never stays paired. Use it one day, the next day you have to delete and reinstall.

-4 stars. Updates don't even work. Never connects. Been fighting with this app since we bought this junk smoker. App never works even set to 2.4g channel Wi-Fi. It rarely connects to the phone and if it does it just says close door and press pairing button which also doesn't work. I have no idea half the time if my smokers even going and the proves always read 0. The whole app and unit are just bad. Never buying a master built again. If you just bought a master built, return it ASAP

App constantly removes grill for my devices it's annoying update -> still not connecting to master built app. Purchased an 800 and will not connect. Have had a replacement sent and same thing, will not connect. No issues with any other grills/smokers
