Haven't used the app in a while after fan issues on connected Joe, but the latest firmware is fantastic. Smoother startup, much more stable, and better response after opening/closing lid. Possible improvements: - Show temperature in notification - improve recipe searching and add favorites / save / voting

I like the app. Hope a few mods will happen to it though. Like 1. Saving Celsius as default rather than in Fahrenheit. 2. Allow saving sessions of history on what you cooked and time frame.

The grill is great, the app ok. It doesn't always populate recent data, so you have to refresh manually. However, my largest gripe is that I'm not able to export time series data from a session.

Komodo just can't be successful at tech. First, the iKamand, and now this. The app is unusable and crashes on opening. What good is an app-controlled Amado where the app doesn't function? Don't update apps until you're sure they are past beta. I've been a long-time owner of Komodo Joe and adopted the Connected Joe early, but I wouldn't buy the new Big Connected Joe if I couldn't use the app. This is the reason on forms, people laugh when you say you bought an app-controlled Amado.

Brand new Pellet Joe grill. Will not connect to app or Wi-Fi. App just times out when trying to get the grill to join the network. Minimal online chat support and no phone number to call in for help. Tried 2.4 ghz only Wi-Fi network without any success. Pure junk. Would never buy again. Update - Spoke with Amado via chat and phone. Looks like an issue with any device running Android 14. You will be unable to add your grill to the app if you are using a newer android phone.
Each subscription will automatically renew 3 days before the expiration date for
the same time period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the renewal.
