It works well, but the way you have to set the temperature with a slider is so annoying. It's so sensitive and when you release the slider it changes by a degree or two, so setting the temp is always an exercise in patience. Just give me two boxes to type numbers into, it would be a vast improvement over the finicky little sliders.

I bought this for smoking meat and all the temp settings are clearly for grilling. This need to have options added for things like brisket or at least make it where users can make their own presets and not be stuck using the ambient temperature option. I've never seen a company this out of touch with who is actually buying and using their products.

Used to work great. But now every time I try to use it I get permissions errors. Even after I allow permissions in the settings it won't connect.

I'm pretty sure they made a list of the most annoying things in an app and made it a point to hit them all. Put the app in the background, notification. Trying to set a target temp, let's use a scroll that will never land on your number. Here's a thought, let me enter the temps I want. Don't tell me every time it's in the background and, most importantly, fix the Bluetooth. Constant disconnects. Why use the app when I have to sit next to the base unit?

Insufficient ability to customize temperature settings, in my opinion. Would also like to be able to set pre-temperature alarm for 25 degrees below target temperature.
