App works fine on a Pixel 7A. However, on a OnePlus6T, it pairs to the booster device and shows TWO black probes rather than one black and one white. It displays no data from either probe!

Easy to use temperature spike and app. App has meat selection and taste (Rare, medium, well done, etc.) and has an option to save which then presents a graph of it cooking. App indicates how long left for it to reach the desired temperature plus a 5 min pre-empt warning. Has worked well when used in my air fryer to monitor meats. As always with temperature spikes make sure they are inserted into the meat fully and monitor ambient and internal temperatures.

I've owned a few wireless temp probes over the years and this one is by far the best. Easy to clean, recharge and store between grilling. The app works well too. I like the ability to customize my cook and set parameters.

This app blows. The only temperature it reads is "steamy pile" hardware is junk too. There are a million options don't pick Temp Spike
★☆☆☆☆Bill D· Oct 4, 2025
I've had my temp spike replaced FOUR TIMES and I now have a graveyard of probes that do not connect to the base or this app.

Doesn't connect to 4 probe booster. If you're considering buying the probes for their Wi-Fi ability just buy meater
★☆☆☆☆Weer'd Beard· Jul 30, 2025
The probe didn't work, the ap is annoying as hell, constantly sending out earsplitting alarms constantly, and the interface isn't intuitive. Thankfully I had an analog thermometer so my roast wasn't ruined!

Hardware has worked great since purchase about 9 months ago until this last cook the probe will only stay charged for about 5 minutes. When charging it goes to completely charged within minutes of starting the charge.
