Fish Agent

Fish Agent is a private, offline-first fishing journal for anglers who want a complete record of every trip.

Start a fishing session and Fish Agent tracks your GPS route while you fish. When you catch something, snap a photo and the catch is logged instantly. Fish Agent can then identify the species from the photo using AI — and return edibility notes, safety handling tips, and the legal size and bag limits for your area.

Core logging works without an account or internet connection. Your data stays on your device until you choose to sync.

Key features:

- Record fishing sessions with GPS route tracking.
- Log a catch instantly by confirming a photo — or add catches without photos.
- Identify fish species from photos using AI (requires sign-in and connection).
- See edibility, safety handling notes, and legal size and bag limits alongside every AI result.
- Track private session and catch locations on a satellite map.
- Store weather, tide stage, moon phase, barometric pressure, air temperature, and water temperature automatically.
- Add optional species, size, weight, rods, bait, lures, techniques, and notes.
- Review full session history with catch counts, weather, and tide conditions.
- Sync your records through the Fish Agent API when you sign in.
- Keep exact fishing locations private by default.

Fish Agent is built for real fishing trips: fast local logging, satellite maps, AI fish identification with safety and limits context, and conditions data to help you learn what worked.

Your fishing spots are sensitive. Fish Agent keeps private locations and photos local by default.

Whether you fish from shore, boat, rivers, lakes, or the coast, Fish Agent helps you build a useful fishing history one session at a time.

Recent changes:
Smoother on more phones.

The home screen map now loads in a lighter mode, so the app stays responsive while it opens, especially on phones with less memory.

Background tracking now switches itself off once a session is over, instead of waking the app in the background.

Also fixes a rare crash when the location permission dialog closes.
