Focus Blocks

Focus Blocks is an interval timer for focused work. Before you start, it lays out the whole session as one row of blocks: wide coral blocks for focus, narrow ones for the breaks in between. As time passes the blocks fill in, so one glance tells you how far you are and what comes next.

Planning takes a few taps. Start from 25 / 5, 50 / 10 or 90 / 20, or shape your own plan: focus blocks from 5 to 120 minutes, short and long breaks, how often the long break comes, and up to 12 blocks in a session. The row, the total length and a rough finish time update as you change the numbers. Add a short label for what you are working on; recent labels are kept for one-tap reuse.

While a session runs, a large countdown shows the current phase and when it ends. Pause and resume whenever you need to, skip a phase, or stop the session with two taps. With auto-start on, each phase follows the last without a tap; switch it off and the next phase waits until you are ready. The phone vibrates at each change while the app is open, and the timer screen keeps the display on while a phase counts down.

Time is worked out from the clock, not counted in the background. Switch to another app or let the screen go dark, and when you come back the timer catches up and logs the phases that finished in the meantime.

The log counts finished focus blocks per day. It shows today and this week, your streak of active days, a chart of the last 14 days and your recent sessions with their labels. A block that ends after midnight counts toward the new day.
