Very Happy. I'm not sure why so many people have given such negative reviews. I have The Russian Short Stories as book & audio on my Samsung phone as well as a hard copy of the book. The stories are interesting & useful. The audio is well articulated & it is helpful to read & listen to the story to improve understanding of the spoken language. When I open the app, it asks if I want to continue reading from my last spot. If I say no, it goes to the home page where the ebooks & audiobooks are.

It works fine, and is very helpful hearing the text as I read along in the book. The interface is a bit clunky and slow, but hey it's not a video game, it just needs to deliver clear crisp audio which it does just fine. I also like that I can slow the audio down which is helpful when learning a language. I am glad to have this app.

Given that the downloaded mp3 files are only playable in the app one would think that the app playback features would be suitable for language learning (select and playback phrases etc.). No Windows version which is where I do all my study. Vanilla playback, no appropriate controls, definitely not suitable for language learning. In a nutshell, good texts, app sucks.

0 I would say this in the baddest app in the world literally if you buy for example I got a Turkish book and in the back of the cover it says that you could get this app, and I thought the app was free turns out I have to pee and when I'm going to try to pay it with my credit card somehow it just says that there was an error, and I cannot read the book this is the worst app ever I hate it.

I bought the audio for the book on the website. I can see it in the app as purchased, but I cannot open it. It says: error occurred please try again after sometime.
