I started using Fresh Direct during lockdown and was pleased with their service. I do prefer shopping in person. And sometimes they don't have a few products that I like that my local grocery store has, so I shop there more often. But when I am feeling stressed or have too much going on, it's really handy to be able to order and get delivery. I've always been pleased with the products. The app is handy. I even got an unexpected box of free food as an "anniversary" gift.

Extremely slow and laggy app. For an online based company, their UX is horrible.

The app has improved over the past year. Unfortunately, the quality of the prepared meals has gone done. Due to my ill health, I cannot cook anymore, so I relied on Fresh Direct. They used to have restaurant quality meals. Now they barely beat frozen meals. The beef is like rubber & the lobster Mac had one piece of lobster 2 times. My choices have become very limited. There are other issues, and I have repeatedly tried to inform them and given them the opportunity to fix them. I give up.

App has been buggy lately after years with no issues. A few times in the past month or so I've gotten to the last screen and the "place order" button just isn't there. I put in the tip and. . . That's it. Nothing happens, nothing loads, I'm stuck. I finally give up and go to the website to finish my order. I love FD but the app has been a pain lately.
