This is my first day trying from FUTO keyboard. I used to use swipe in Gboard and that worked fine for a while. I tried Swift key, but it was not quite accurate, but I was not very comfortable with the privacy issues. So I finally reached in FUTO keyboard. I tried it one year ago and the swipe was not so great but right now it is just amazing and the voice input also very, very good. It is very surprising that a quantized model AI sitting in the mobile can be as good as large LLMs

What is the best keyboard? I tried Gboard, Swift key, Multiline O, even Gr8ly Custom Keyboard. My winners are FUTO and Keyboard Designer (aka Custom Keyboard Designer). I use both. FUTO has all the features: undo/redo, arrow keys on main keyboard and a hidden custom layout mode. See the FUTO website for details. I used it to create a wide key keyboard with 7 wide keys per row instead of the usual 10 too narrow keys. I used Keyboard Designer to make a similar but more compact keyboard (fewer rows).

According to Futo I have been using their app for "53 days". They wanted $11 and some change. Then put up a multiple choice reminder. After clicking "the next century" it seemed to get "buggy". As I prepared to write this review I noticed that Google notes this app does not seem to respond to data deletion requests. While using this app I have had 3 financial fraud instances. Your information should not be their property to sell or share. I now use AnySoftKeyboard. I feel safer now.

Nice if you care about privacy but probably the worst possible text prediction in existence, it gets nearly every single word wrong and autocorrects to the wrong word, I will never use this worthless app ever again.

After the last update the issues with the typing have become even worse. I've already sent the feedback on these issues previously to the support via the app's settings, but with this update the keyboard fails to leave the screen completely getting stuck at the bottom, sometimes it crashes and other times it is plain out refuses to type (the suggestions appear, but the text is not). I need the old version I've installed initially about 1.5 years ago. Too bad I don't have a copy of that...
