We believe that if your computer keyboard doesn't ask for internet access, neither should your mobile keyboard. FUTO Keyboard is a modern keyboard app with voice input that is completely offline and never connects to the internet, in order to ensure your privacy and security.
FUTO Keyboard contains modern features such as autocorrect, voice input and swipe typing. It is also configurable to suit your personal taste.

What is the best keyboard? I tried Gboard, Swift key, Multiline O, even Gr8ly Custom Keyboard. My winners are FUTO and Keyboard Designer (aka Custom Keyboard Designer). I use both. FUTO has all the features: undo/redo, arrow keys on main keyboard and a hidden custom layout mode. See the FUTO website for details. I used it to create a wide key keyboard with 7 wide keys per row instead of the usual 10 too narrow keys. I used Keyboard Designer to make a similar but more compact keyboard (fewer rows).

Seems good and fast so far. As someone escapes from Swift key, I'd love the option of "swipe across the whole keyboard to backspace" as an option if not using swipe typing. It also doesn't seem to auto captialise after a period, is that a setting I need to turn on?

The swipe typing functionality in the latest version has shown considerable improvement. However, an issue has been identified where, during the input of a desired word, an alternative word is suggested. This makes the user to backspace and retype the intended word but, the same word is suggested again, a scenario that consistently repeats twice. Pls look into it.

Been using this app for a while now and autocorrect works less than 50% of the time. It does not seem to be true that over time it will learn and get better. I keep having to go back and correct SO much! For some reason the keyboard doesn't recognize swear words either which is annoying. It also won't let me go back and edit words correctly-it goes to a different part of the message and begins typing on a part I didn't even press on???

Nice if you care about privacy but probably the worst possible text prediction in existence, it gets nearly every single word wrong and autocorrects to the wrong word, I will never use this worthless app ever again.

This keyboard is terrible. It randomly inserts weird obscure sentences/words/phrases in your voice to text messages. It has the autocorrect of 20 years ago where it changes what you write to whatever it thinks is right, and you can't easily change it back. It's low-key embarrassing to use this because it changes details without your knowledge and adds things you would never say.
