I'm neurotic when it comes to a keyboard app. I've tried all the primary apps, and many smaller devs. FUTO is the only one the gets it right. They value privacy. Their app is surprisingly easy to use considering the amount of customization. I've tried dozens of keyboard Apps, and I'm really happy that I can stop searching, now that I've found FUTO Keyboard. If you're using Gboard by Google, or Microsoft's keyboard, you need to switch.

I'm incredibly happy with app. I'm moving from Swift Key since it's predications (and over all app quality) has gone down the toilet for months now. FUTO is faster, more private, more accurate, more customizable. It's just a huge upgrade for me. I'm going to try kasroz layout for a bit. Very interesting. I'm going to join the discord to suggest a little behavior/toggles changes. All the big stuff is exactly as it should be, but there's a few very small tweaks they would be nice.

It's a good, privacy-focused keyboard with tons of customizations and swipe typing. The autocorrect however needs a ton of improvement, it's constantly trying to correct things that don't need correcting. Reserving my money and 5 stars until that gets improved.

Initially had given 1 star because swipe typing was 💩 and for me that's arguable most important for a keyboard for me. Its improved like crazy. 2 more improvements. Autocorrect still doesn't make sense or seem to work. And voice typing should use parakeet v8

I am a Canadian. I have selected Canadian English... Yet the voice to text inputs us spelling 🤬 This has been a problem for months now. Please fix it, or I will need to find an alternative.
★★☆☆☆Bryan Snow· Oct 3, 2026
Has way too many garbage words and acronyms baked in. I spend half the time blacklisting acronyms rather than typing. Honestly at this point I'll use a certain g product and deny it internet to get a better experience and equal amount of privacy (assuming the g product doesn't siphon my data through other channels that it guaranteed does)

Can you use the layout of Gboard for tamil language, which is better compared to your?
★☆☆☆☆Heman· Sep 28, 2026
Started off great now it's just as bad as Google's voice to text, so I'm assuming you guys switched over to Gemini.
★☆☆☆☆Frogo's Player 1· Sep 27, 2026
I wanted to like it due to the privacy aspect, but the keyboard and most especially the voice input functions suck. Apparently there are newer apps doing voice input way better, but they aren't the best for privacy. I really hope this app will improve sooner rather than later... dropping it until that time comes.
