It integrates with apps and keyboards that support the standard Android voice input APIs (ACTION_RECOGNIZE_SPEECH and Voice IME). All processing is done completely offline on your device, and your recordings are NEVER saved or sent anywhere. The app accesses the Internet only when you choose to download optional models. FUTO Voice Input respects your privacy.

Your voice to text sucks worse than Google I'm outside because I'm trying to get away from the spyware bikini pissed off at my phone and doesn't work. The app used every word in the dictionary except the one I wanted it to

I can't get the voice input to work with some apps. Like with Gemini, it will show me the microphone, show me that it's listening, the little animation is there, and then nothing. There will be no output.

Very disappointing experience with the app. The app seems to not be able to download any model no matter what, especially models that are not default. And it's not just my problem, everyone literally is complaining from this, but I don't know where the developers are. It just took away my data (used over 100 mb download but didn't download anything.)

The voice input is very frustrating. It would be nice to be able to see what was being said/typed as it's being said, instead of saying an entire paragraph and it just printing it out and being completely wrong, making corrections more difficult. Making corrections is also frustrating, as you can't just tap on a word and say the right word to correct it, you need to completely delete it and then edit afterward by typing.

It's ok as an accessibility tool but needs improvements, struggles with Irish accent, many times have to edit wrong transcribed words (and even sneezes lol) and talk slowly and articulate carefully. Would love an option for it to be used as a voice assistant that respects privacy to be able to navigate Talk Back with voice without fearing Google is listening in to everything... Having to give up privacy because of disability isn't fun.
