GA Irrigation Calc

GA Irrigation Calc plans your garden's irrigation based on real Bahrain and Gulf climate data, then tells you exactly how much water, what hardware, and how long to run each zone.

WHY THIS APP
Most irrigation calculators use generic climate data from the US or Europe. This one uses Bahrain-specific monthly evapotranspiration (ET0) figures calibrated against a decade of on-the-ground experience at Garden Affairs, one of Bahrain's leading landscape companies.

Enter your garden zones, pick your hardware, and the app tells you:

• How many minutes each zone should run, twice a day
• How many drip emitters, sprinkler heads, or bubblers to install
• How much water your garden uses weekly and monthly
• Whether your pump can handle the peak flow — or if the zone needs splitting
• A ready-to-programme schedule for your Rain Bird or Hunter controller

FEATURES

• Bahrain/Gulf climate model — monthly ET0 data auto-adjusts targets through the seasons
• Real hardware specs — Rain Bird VAN nozzles (4 through 18), drip pipe, drip emitters, bubblers
• Pump capacity check — 1.0 HP through 3.3 HP pre-sets, with automatic zone-split recommendations
• Garden zones — vegetables, flower beds, lawn, shrubs, containers, and palms/trees
• Full garden report PDF — branded, ready to share with your landscaper or save for reference
• Controller programme — clear table of start times, run times, and end times for every session
• 2× or 3× daily sessions — the right frequency for warm-season Gulf lawns
• English and Arabic — full right-to-left support

WHO IS IT FOR
• Homeowners planning or tuning their garden irrigation
• Landscape contractors and maintenance crews
• Anyone whose water bills are higher than they should be
• Anyone whose lawn is yellowing despite daily watering

Recent changes:
• Name your own Garden Areas. Rename, resize, swap hardware, or add new Areas
• Plantings drive the water target. Pick from 143 Bahrain-curated species and run times adjust to match.
• Tree Areas handle mixed species. Mango + citrus share one slot; the thirstier species sets the run time.
• PDF reports use your Area names and solenoid numbers — ready to hand to the client or installer.
• Arabic PDFs now render properly. Cursive joining, Tajawal font, right-to-left layout throughout.
