A little buggy to first get set up, had to try to connect multiple times, and start over with forgetting the network several times before it finally allowed me to enter the Wi-Fi settings. Once set up, it seems to work fine, but PLEASE ADD A STATUS INDICATOR ON THE APP, so you can actually see if the fan is on or not!

To get the fan connected originally you have to use a 2.4g Wi-Fi network, it doesn't work on 5g. Once connected to the fan Wi-Fi network on your phone, go to your web browser to open the settings. There you can add your home Wi-Fi network to the device. I think the app works great overall. My only disappointment is not having any kind of fan status indicator. I want to know if the fan is running or not!

The app doesn't tell you when the fan is on or off? There is a small gray fan icon below the temperature and humidity that should turn green when the fan is on and then gray when it's off. That doesn't happen. Please confirm for me that the app has no way to tell you if your fan is on or off. Temp reading seems very inaccurate. Reads high. Where is the temperature sensor? Is it in the blue box that hangs off the fan wiring or is it directly on the fan in the small black box?

I installed the mobile app and followed instructions to connect my mobile wireless to the fan wireless but when I return to the GAF app after connecting, I cannot add a device, it says network error. I have added many different Wi-Fi devices in my home and this should not be this difficult. GAF needs to either provide the customer with more detailed instructions that work, or come up with a different controller for the fan.
