Description
Sports stopwatch with: • giant digits and adjustable theme (color, font, size, spacing, format) • control with both on-screen buttons and volume buttons • lap-timer • delayed-start (with audio 3...2...1... countdown) • screen lock mode to prevent accidental count stoppage due to splashes (you are of course responsible for ensuring your device is waterproof)
Free, small, no ads, open source (github.com/arpruss/simplestopwatch).
As a bonus, includes a giant number clock (swipe up/down to switch between clock and stopwatch).
I made this so I could easily see the time while rock climbing at the gym 50 feet up. It's also useful poolside for swimming, and for other sports where you need to see the time from a distance (or close up, if you want).

Nice stopwatch app without any ads, or data collection. Plenty of settings to fine tune the display appearance. I use this app to mark time whilst watching a movie in a theater, and Android 16 with its bright orange button is very intrusive. This app's muted display, and dark mode, make for a non-intrusive runtime even in a dark theater.

There is an option to "Tap screen to activate button 1," which starts or stops the timer. However, for laps, it would be much more effective if there was a fourth option: "Tap screen to activate button 2." This would allow me to log "Laps" (time markers) simply by tapping anywhere on the screen without looking down Would you consider adding this toggle to the "How to change which button does which function" menu? It would make the app a perfect tool for those who need "eyes-free" timestamping.

Vertical stacked-digit layout is hard to read. No horizontal option. Just give me the ordinary horizontal layout found on any household clock.

Too Dangerous app. When pin app lock screen mode on then phone is not working. Any app, lock button, sutter etc.
