Description
LibriVox Downloader conveniently downloads free audio books from the LibriVox collection, which can then be played in a suitable audio player. Smart AudioBook is recommended.
This app was a Christmas gift for my wife. If you get something useful out of it, so be it.
The books are by default downloaded to the LibriVox folder on your SD card / external storage. You should set MortPlayer Audio Book to use that folder as its main folder, or use the Options in LibriVox Downloader to select a different folder for it to download to.

NOTE 1: I recommend downloading audio books only via WiFi. These are very large downloads, about 350 mb or so each.
NOTE 2: I've had one user report that ogg downloads work better than mp3 ones. I am investigating.

Needs updated I have enjoyed using this app in the past. I use it in conjunction with Smart Audio Book Player. LibriVox has updated their site and this app no longer works properly. Thank you for your past efforts.

Great downloading app This is awesome, I download books and share them with my nook, laptop and phone. This is a download app, I use the actual LibriVox app to play them. I love that I do not need the internet to listen. They are right on my SD, TY for this, but I start my download at night and let it do its thing. I had one problem, I want to many books now lol

This app basically does nothing. It does not let you log in using your LibriVox credentials nor does it let you download the books you paid for on LibriVox. IT'S ONLY FEATURE IS TO ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD BOOKS THAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD ANYWHERE, WITHOUT HAVING TO DOWNLOAD A DUMB APP! Open source, dummies.

Error in downloading Tried several books. Get error in download try again later. No success using this at all. Don't waste your time. Uninstalling :-( :-(

This is pointless What is the point to an app that lets you download books but without the ability to listen to said book? This app is pointless. I was also hoping to find an app that would let me read the text, but apparently those don't exist.
