Gildmend

Gildmend opens the door to a restoration atelier that appears only on rainy nights. Every commission begins with a tray of carefully authored fragments: real chipped edges, visible glaze layers, continuous painted patterns, and a piece of history waiting to be recovered. Drag a shard with one thumb, use clear rotate controls to align its angle, hold to inspect a neighboring edge, and trace the final seam in gold once the structure is stable.

This is more than a silhouette jigsaw. Edge shape, painted pattern continuity, assembly order, joint gaps, limited stability, and the steadiness of every gold line all contribute to the result. A careless fit can weaken the object, while a precise joint reconnects both its form and its decoration. Each focused commission takes about three to five minutes and moves through distinct structural stages before the repaired relic is archived.

Between stages, choose one of three Lacquer Techniques. Pattern Wash supports closer observation. Soft Clamp protects a difficult joint. Thin Bond asks for tighter precision in exchange for a stronger reward. Lacquer is a temporary craft resource used for the current restoration and redraws. Gold Leaf supports lasting progression and new commissions. Provenance fragments record discoveries and are never spent.

The current release contains sixteen playable relics across four lost collections: Household Echoes, Courtly Vessels, Voyage Fragments, and Ashen Dynasty. Failed work can be retried immediately without mandatory energy. Every finished object enters the Relic Gallery with its scars preserved, turning damage into the most beautiful and personal part of its story. The long-term archive is designed to grow with more relics, provenance records, display cases, restoration seals, and visible improvements to the atelier.

Short English labels, portrait one-hand controls, sound, shape, texture, and color cues keep the craft readable on a phone. Rewarded videos are optional ways to gain limited assistance or speed up resources. A cooled-down interstitial may appear only after a successful restoration when returning from the Ledger or Gallery to the Atelier. Ads never finish a relic, replace skill, or unlock exclusive history.
