Description
GLIMR is a mental wellness check-in you can actually keep up with. Log how you're feeling in about 20 seconds, then get on with your day.
No account. No ads. No trackers. What you write stays on your phone.
(GLIMR was previously called "You Good?" — same app, same data, new name.)
Check in, in 20 seconds
• Set your mood on a simple 7-point scale, from Amazing to Terrible • Add your energy level with one slider • Leave a note by typing, or record a voice note — speech-to-text runs on your device, and the audio is deleted once it's transcribed • Tag entries with your own keywords • On harder days, GLIMR quietly checks The Basics with you: meds, water, sleep, food
Your feed, only for you
Your check-ins land in a private timeline — today, this week, earlier. Weekly insights show your mood at a glance, your average energy, and the tags that keep coming up. No likes, no followers, no one else reading it.
Help when you need it now
The Support tab is one tap away, no matter where you are in the app:
• Breathe — 60 seconds of guided breathing with optional voice guidance • Ground Yourself — the 5-4-3-2-1 senses exercise, step by step • Cold Water Reset — a fast physical reset for a racing nervous system • 5-Minute Walk — a mindful walk timer that keeps you company • Glimmers — your own collected good moments, right when you need them
Crisis lines are always listed, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Text Line. If a note reads like you're in real trouble, GLIMR notices on your device and offers support immediately — that check never leaves your phone.
A toolbox that builds up over time
• Glimmer Jar — collect small good moments as text, photos, or voice clips • Today I Live — write notes to your future self • Self-Worth Corner — a photo shelf of things you're proud of • Messages to Nowhere — write the letter you'll never send • Reframes — a gentler perspective and one small next step after a hard check-in • Home screen widgets — check in without opening the app
Private by design
• All your entries live in a local database on your device • No analytics, no advertising IDs, no third-party tracking • Optional encrypted backup to your own device or your own Google Drive — only if you turn it on • Optional biometric app lock with fingerprint or face unlock • Optional medication tracking and refill reminders
Made to bring to therapy
Export everything as a CSV for spreadsheets, or a clean PDF you can hand to a therapist or doctor.
GLIMR Premium: Premium unlocks unlimited Glimmers, Today I Live notes, and Self-Worth photos, plus medication tracking, refill reminders, and CSV and PDF export. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription — pricing is shown in the app before you buy. The free version stays fully usable: check-ins, your feed, every Support tool, and crisis resources are never behind a paywall.
An important note: GLIMR is a self-reflection tool, not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or provide therapy, and it isn't a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you're in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line — in the US, call or text 988.

Absolutely love this app. When im having a rough day I log it, when I'm having a good day, I log it. No matter what, I log it. Then I can go back and check my mental health progress whenever I need to! Absolutely LOVE!!

I have the paid version and absolutely love it. I use the med reminders. It really has helped me so much. Staying on top of checking myself. Glimmer jar will be full of grand baby pics. Great tool for mental health! If you don't have it you need it!!! I didn't realize how bad I needed something like this. THANK YOU ANNA RILEY, your the best Queen!!!

I think it's a nice concept. Keeping in mind that many of the individuals that use apps like this are on tight incomes. Showing what they could have, if only they could afford it, seems antithetical. It's hard to use a tool in a section with other's being visible, but locked behind pay walls Using a 1x purchase model with the ability for other users to gift the paid version would be cool.

Worst app ever made. It needs to go in the trash and the creator of it wasted their time on it cuz it is rushed, and you can't do anything on it except open it and stare at it
