As a teen who uses this app, I love it, I do chores for money! But, I would say that the only bad thing about this app is that the chores up for grabs, once you claim it, it becomes "yours" therefore it is no longer up for grabs not giving another kid a chance (my brother). Other than that I would highly recommend.

First time setting up service and a little confused. Seems like it would be a great concept for teaching kids ways to allocate their money! Four star because it recommended I put $10 for when I get the card my neice could use but setting it up the areas that show you monies available is saying $0. Maybe it loads when you actually get the card!

Good luck transferring money back to your bank, or cancelling your account. My son outgrew green light, so I tried to transfer the funds back into my account, so I can close it, and GL tells me to wait 5 days before I can transfer it back to my account... why I need to do that is beyond me. Five days go by, still can't transfer. I have to open a ticket. More time goes by, eventually it's back in my bank account. I try to close my account. It doesn't let you! Stay away.

I can't send money right away unless I send 20 is not okay. I have my bank and debit card on the app, so it shouldn't be a problem.

0 stars. DO NOT USE. They'll steal your money. I added money to my son's account, and he used the money 4 business days later on a Friday. Greenlight takes the money out of his account which was instantly sent from my bank account. The following Tuesday Green light tries taking out the money AGAIN making my bank account negative. It happened 2 weeks in a row. Never had any problems with it before, but they basically told me it was my fault and they won't give me a refund. They owe me $100

Absolutely horrid experience. Thought this was a really solid app at first. Got the kids all set up, got my bank verified, got all the steps completed. Transferred about 90 dollars over for chore money for the kids and then without ANY warning whatsoever, my account was deactivated. Received an email with no rhyme or reason why, just saying I wasn't eligible for account reactivation. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with customer support to ask why, and they told me more of the same. Garbage.
