Recently I lowered the rating but soon afterward the system started operating as designed. That was the only time I had any concern. The Grove Sense water security kit is an excellent product and has detected problems I've had in the past. I believe this product to be a benefit to any home as it can help avoid damage due to water leaking. It also monitors temperature and water pressure.

Except for some laggines in the app, overall experience has been positive. The product itself (or similar) is basically a must-have in an older home. I have had it (guard+3x sense) for about 1 year now, and it has already paid itself back.

Installed GROVE Sense successfully after several frustrating attempts due to cryptic or incorrect instructions. First instructions indicate to download the Indus app which is out of date. Second instructions show connecting a phone to the temporary GROVE Sense Wi-Fi as Step 3 followed by Step 4 which is reconnecting the phone to one's home Wi-Fi. This interrupts the setup process. Step 4 is done in the Sense App. When setup is done the Sense Wi-Fi will end and phone should auto connect to home Wi-Fi

After update, my grove guard cannot connect to application rendering it not functional.

This is about the worst I have experienced. The QR-codes in the manuals point to invalid addresses, the app name doesn't match (grove Indus vs sense), the registration process is unintuitive, but worst of all, after overcoming all usability obstacles, the device still fails to connect to my WLAN after two hours of attempt after attempt. WLAN signal is strong and all other iot devices have connected properly. If the chinese can do it, how come a German "quality" product doesn't get it right.

App recently overhauled. Completely useless. Set sprinkler mode, turn on sprinkler, Grove shuts off water twice in an hour. Sprinkler setting active til 11 pm. Turn off sprinkler mode, go to turn back on. No sprinkler setting saved. Have to log in to Grove EVERY time I have to open the app. And just like V1...cannot complete a firmware update, ever. Except now, it seems to beep all week because one is available. Insane.

Impossible to add a device. 'Connect to Wi-Fi' page just keeps on refreshing when you click "connect" without giving an error message, rendering over £100 of devices useless. Customer support is awful and simply not worth bothering with.
