Description
The GT e-Token Plus is a mobile application for generating One Time Passwords (OTPs) used in authenticating electronic transactions.
A one-time password (OTP) is a secure and automatically generated string of characters that authenticates the user for login and/or electronic transaction completion.
Electronic transactions include (but may not be limited to) web, internet banking and mobile banking transactions, where you are required to enter a 6-digit token-generated code.
A one-time password (OTP) generated from your GT e-Token Plus App can be used as an alternative to or alongside the GTBank hardware token device.
Activating Your GT e-Token Plusapp: To activate your GT e-Token Plus app, select your customer type and choose your preferred activation method, which can be the use of your Bank card, Hardware Token or by calling contact center to get an authorization code.
Your data ID will be verified to complete the activation.
Using Your GT e-Token Plus app: Once your app is activated, you can create a unique 6-digit Pascode that will be used for subsequent log in to the application and enjoy 24/7 banking.

Great 👍 had issues with the Biometric option, logged a support request via GT WhatsApp chat & was led to a Video Support call. It is not just frustrating but disappointing for GT Bank to have roll out a new security ware without running it to ensure it is free of any error. Worst still is that, all complaints about the shortcomings of the new GT E-Token Plus especially liveliness camera capturing erro have not been attended or addressed by customer support. GT Bank should better come out to address the issue been face by many customers or provide alternative before it's too late. I cannot have other options and be trapped
