The GT e-Token Plus is a mobile application for generating One Time Passwords (OTPs) used in authenticating electronic transactions.
A one-time password (OTP) is a secure and automatically generated string of characters that authenticates the user for login and/or electronic transaction completion.
Electronic transactions include (but may not be limited to) web, internet banking and mobile banking transactions, where you are required to enter a 6-digit token-generated code.
A one-time password (OTP) generated from your GT e-Token Plus App can be used as an alternative to or alongside the GTBank hardware token device.
Activating Your GT e-Token Plusapp: To activate your GT e-Token Plus app, select your customer type and choose your preferred activation method, which can be the use of your Bank card, Hardware Token or by calling contact center to get an authorization code.
Your data ID will be verified to complete the activation.
Using Your GT e-Token Plus app: Once your app is activated, you can create a unique 6-digit Pascode that will be used for subsequent log in to the application and enjoy 24/7 banking.

I live in the USA and I need to transfer money to Nigeria, I was shocked that my hard Token didn't work, I immediately called Nigeria to find out only to be told to download load Token plus. I did it and several times the Verification failed. I've been trying to get in touch with GTB since yesterday (9/25/26) only to be massaging process of download e Token plus. This is poor service. I need to transfer money urgently to Nigeria. Help is needed.

Liveliness verification tool is bad doesn't work. No matter how you position your face. Change the tool. Use a better software to authenticate facial scan. If you give me a call, and I'll build something better.

Horrible experience! Impossible to activate or get through the "liveness check" Easy to see that this app was built to frustrate the customer, just like the GTB customer service that is deliberately configured to be permanently inaccessible and dysfunctional.

This GT e-Token Plus app is so frustrating. This is the worst banking app I've seen. It should be rolled back abeg, and imagine going to the bank to complain, and you're being told to buy or use another phone because the app won't work on your phone. The error message "USB Debugging Detected" keeps coming up even after the USB Debugging has been disabled and the app uninstalled and reinstalled with same issues.
