Update 2/23/24 - yay! Update fixed it! Now there is a choice for Android or iPhone when pairing. And connected! Can't wait to ride with it. Original review : Hmmm. 3 solid years of it not working, entering the 4th year of simple app notification not working. SRAM does nothing? I'm ready to be a beta tester and help make this product better.

Karoo3: App is very much better now with the integrated dashboard otherwise it was just barely there. Hopefully Hammerhead supports addition and removal of existing connected accounts to the app that will be great. So 4/5 from now.

Extremely disappointing for a £350+ device to have such poor phone notification integration. Phone connected when I first set up my device and test notifications seemed to be coming through with an audible chips on the Karoo 2. However once you turn off your Karoo and ride for the second time it will not work. I have repaired and installed the app multiple times. I launch and make sure the app is running on my phone. It will work once each time you fully pair it after that it simply doesn't work.

The device is great but the companion app although sort of does what it states is poor for the only app to sync saved route's, with both Garmin and Yahoo when I add a new route from the strata app it syncs automatically yet on Karoo I have to log on to both websites on my laptop and then copy the route over to hammerhead, and then it syncs why is it so difficult for this to not be done directly through the app ?
