For the love of Tom For the love of Tom Hanks, the creator of this app....YES! "THE Tom Hanks"; this is a simple novelty item, it is not applicable for for SMS, MMS. But it does what it says, and you can send your typed msg to someone in email. The only thing I can think of that would make it better than it already is, would be the "ding" noise that the old typewriter had when returning to the left side of the page for a new line. Thanks Tom for allowing us to take part in your creativity!

Is HANK'S WRITER and HAWK WRITER the exact same app? It looks that way..even the Icon is the same. Anyhow, the big issues for me are; 1. You can't use it with a bluetooth keyboard. 2. The only way to save a document is to email it in plain text. But, unlike another typewriter app that I like a lot better, this one does makes the proper sounds when you press the SHIFT key, and the RETURN key. BUT I would trade those two things for BLUETOOTH operation.
