Starting from the version 4.3.1, HDD Audio Remote can only be used on devices with Android 7.0 or a later version installed. On any devices with Android 6 or an earlier version, you cannot use HDD Audio Remote Version 4.3.1 or later versions.
HDD Audio Remote is a mobile application that allows you to operate compatible HDD AUDIO PLAYER models using your smartphone or tablet. The application allows you to operate HDD AUDIO PLAYER easily using specialized functions that are only possible in a mobile application, such as the “Full Browser” function (tablets only).
This application has the following features: - Easy operation of HDD AUDIO PLAYER using your mobile device By installing HDD Audio Remote on your smartphone or tablet, you can remotely select and play tracks, change playback volume, stop playback and more, instead of operating the HDD AUDIO PLAYER directly. You can also select music services. - Creating and editing playlists You can create and edit playlists with your favorite tracks. - Editing the music information of a track You can edit the details of tracks.

Hey.... It works. If you like simple, with no email sign up and all that stuff. If you comparing it to something made in 2020 or something it won't stand up, but it does what it's supposed to which is stream music remotely.

Good. Have run this app for 8 years now. Wi-Fi connection was terrible in first releases, after a few updates is a lot better. Sometimes device drops off the network for unknown reasons, but comes back on again. Spofity was a nice update feature, however Spotify support needs a firmware update, as song/album artwork from Spotify suddenly stopped coming through a couple of months ago. Now it just displays the Spotify symbol on the screen.

Sony needs to give the Android version of this app some love! Seriously, on my Android phone all the icons are in some sort of super zoom mode-one can select tunes, or change just about any state with this app. The ios version of this app is great, so I don't understand why Don't have snubbed Android. I spent $1000 for my Sony HD Audio amplifier, which requires the use of an app for all the features-the little remote that comes with the HFA amplifier can only turn on/off the amplifier- and next/b

Runs but will not connect to player on Nexus 6 & Pixel C both running Android N This app had improved a LOT over the past two years, but now it doesn't even connect to my HAP-Z1ES on Android 7.0 Nougat. So this app will open but is essentially useless on my Nexus 6 & Pixel C without connecting to the player. I verified that it still works just fine on my Nexus 4 running Ice Cream Sandwich though. Please Sony, Android N has been out for almost a year for testing your app.
