Not having an app icon seems a bizarre choice, but otherwise it worked well enough for the one thing I needed to use it for (share data from one app to another). This app is purely a connection between others, most of the restrictions likely come from the health apps choosing not to share certain data, or sharing it in a format the other can't process correctly

Seems to be working for me. People complaining that you can't see if it's working you can see when an app has read or written data. You also have to go in the settings of some connected apps and enable health connect there too. Health connect is a bit strange to me and needs a proper UI, but I find it very useful.

Does not import data from Garmin Connect, despite saying it is linked. Also the app can only be opened through the Play store.

Everything worked well until Samsung Health's major app revamp round about 4 July 2026. I've confirmed via Samsung Health and Polar that everything is working. Health Connect reads the data from Polar but doesn't write it to Samsung Health. I've made sure apps are up-to-date, synced, cache cleared, device restarted, all systems allowed to read/write data on two different devices and both only runs up until 3 July and no data swopped out since. I suggest an app called Data Sync instead
