It works well with an Android phone and Windows PC, but I also have an Android tablet, and there doesn't seem to be a way to use both, with the tablet using halogen as a password manager, and not the master device. I only see an option to sign up.

I love it. So simple and it just works. Both for myself and (yes...) my parents. Only downsides: (1) As far as I can tell your password entry is gone, if you accidentally delete it -- there seems to be no trash to recover it from. (((2) You cannot export passwords to other password managers just yet, so you'll be locked in unless you know how to convert JSON exports.)) // EDIT: I suppose (2) is not actually an issue. Built different, no password to remember, however I hope it should work without being the default password manager app, and I think the logins and devices menus should be swapped (logins on left, devices on right). Create folder feature will better for organize

It's functional, mostly. I have one particular password that keeps reverting to the same password in the system. I have to reset that password every time I want to log in. The backup system is a long login that you have to keep available. That backup code only allows you to install the app on a new device. So, if you lose your phone (which is your login device), then until you replace your phone there is no way to log into sites on your computer. We've lost productivity because of this.

I already have a halogen account. When I upgraded my phone to an S23, the app kept crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. The welcome screen does not have a place to log in to my existing account. It says my email is already in use. Now, I'm locked out of Halogen and all my accounts because there's no place to login on the sign-up screen. 😡

Not a password manager, should not be promoted as one. This is a login assistant only. So if you have just one device as I do, halogen will not work for you. Stupid. They should be transparent enough about that in the description.... absolute waste of time
