Extremely frustrating! Worst banking app. It worked well until recently. Now every time I try to log in I get a message saying "This is a rooted device" & mind you my phone is NOT rooted. I have to clear the cache and reset the app every time this happens. Then it works for a while & then the same issue appears again. I cannot even make transfers now. Customer service told me there is nothing they can do unless I change my phone. Worst!

This HNB app keeps crashing on New Android OS. All other banking apps keep working while HNB app is forced to stop working with the latest Android OS. Something is not right about their digital banking app.

HNB Digital Banking has not received a major feature update for around 4–5 years, while many other banking apps now offer much better and more modern features. HNB should add QR payments, loans against FDs, debit card management, government payments, pawning management, quick bill payments and faster fund transfers. Dark/Light theme switching and font size adjustment from Settings would also be very useful. The app needs a major update to catch up with other banking apps.
