Comments on Home by Building 36 for Android

★★★★★ Olivia Saunders · Jul 24, 2025

LOVE the ability to control my houses' temperature from my phone. App is easy to use.

★★★★☆ Jacky Wang · Jun 29, 2020

I like the wireless connection through phone network. The only thing I feel not so flexible is the schedule that provides maximum 4 periods. I really hope we have more freedom and control over the schedule setting so that we can adjust when we want it on and when we want it off.

★★★★☆ SK · Nov 7, 2025

Disappointed to find that this app doesn't show the humidity level inside my home. Would love to see this feature added in the future. Updates.

★★★★★ Neal McPhillips III · Mar 3, 2023

I started out thinking I would hate using this for my furnace and smart plug. I love it, it works great. I am amazed at all the other smart devices I can use. I love how I can set my thermostat setting. And how I am notified about my usages and power outages.

★☆☆☆☆ Jose Colon · Jul 2, 2025

Useless, it's not accurate and when you try to change the temperature it loads a revert to the original setting.

★☆☆☆☆ Amy Cardoza · Apr 29, 2020

The temp keeps changing, and it went off-line and no one gets back to me when I call HELP !!!!!!!!

★☆☆☆☆ Tracy Swinson · Mar 16, 2025

If I could give it a negative review I would. Month after installation of my new furnace I'm sitting in the cold because sometime overnight this app decided to reset itself & remove access to my furnace settings shutting it off. I did not choose a furnace needing an app but was told that was the only option out there if I wanted my furnace replaced. No retailer or producers of home furnace should be allowed to mandate to use of an outside computer entity in order to keep it running

★☆☆☆☆ Brad Smith · Dec 27, 2017

Constantly changing settings by itself. I have 3 thermostats. At this point can't be trusted. Have shut off hub (per supports instructions) and using as a manual thermostat. Hoping for a solution
