Comments on Hourly chime clock + wallpaper for Android

★★★★★ Amit Mehta · Oct 1, 2024

This is the only clock amongst others tried so far is best hourly chime clock. Other clocks give chimes two times. One on the dot and second after 2 to 5 minutes. This clock is very regular for chimes. There are multiple choice for chime sound plus you can keep different chime sound for hourly and half houly time. What's more you can keep the wallpaper also. Thanks for giving such a beautiful clock.

Samsung Z Fold 5, Android 16 (Baklava), One UI 8.5. Filled the display. NO ADS!! No complaints about the audio (so far), but the pendulum, gears and second hand on Old Clock 2 should be synchronized in rhythm like a real antique clock. Also, when I set the clock on my screen, the pendulum went from fast oscillation to slow hesitation. BTW, the settings are all for audio. The aforementioned also need options for adjustment. BTW, my folks were in the antique clock repair business.

LOSING MY TRUST DEV! Set for no notifications AND OPTIMIZED and has worked perfectly this way then today A FULL SCREEN NOTIFICATION REQUEST TO STOP OPTIMIZATION. I checked all settings and found all as previously set. HOW DOES THIS APP OVERRIDE SETTINGS AUTHORITY?? LOSING MY TRUST DEV!

Original review was a 5 star with "Love clocks!" Now I will uninstall. After the December 2022 update my app quit. I cannot access settings because ads swarm the app upon opening. This I cannot stand!!! Used to have this app chime 7am to 5pm. Everyone at work loved it too, because they would know when lunch was on! Goodbye!

Before today's update, it was doing fine. The update removed the tick-tocking sound of all the clocks except the streetlamp clock. Also, the classic clock #3 position changed to one lower than previous, so it now clashes with several desktop app icons. And the image is now less classic than the previous one. In its effects, the latest update was really a downgrade. All app developers should remember the saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

★☆☆☆☆ Vicky Padin · Oct 5, 2024

It doesn't seem to ring hourly which is the primary reason on why I downloaded the app. If you're looking for an app that chimes hourly for every hour that passes maybe possibly reconsider downloading this app.
