Great alternative to the "usual suspects" I only have a couple issues. First one is that it would be a good idea to know what vehicle is coming to pick me up. If I was in a crowded area at night, I wouldn't be able to see every plate on the cars. 2 is that the driver's location only updates on my phone every minute or so, so I can't tell if the driver is stuck somewhere or if he is on his way. Other than that. I love it. Do these things and it will be 5 stars

Going from Union to the AGO is cheaper on Hovr, it's Canadian and the drivers get paid more, it's great!

I just had my first ride, it's a great business model. The biggest issue I had was the pickup address, where I could not set it properly! It looks like a UX issue, because I really tried! Luckily it was not downtown, and it worked for us. Hope they fix it soon.

I was happy that this app is trying to break the duopoly that Lyft and Uber has over ride-sharing but then the app they made is so buggy that it is slowly putting me off it. Some of the issues I faced are: - It doesn't detect your location correctly sometimes - The fare estimate shown is almost always incorrect, and I get charged slightly more than the estimate - When I book a ride, the drivers accept it and stay at their location unless called. - Customer support is bad.

The idea seems good, provided that the monthly fee for drivers does not get too high and the price is competitive and the arrival times are quick etc. But when I installed the app on my phone and checked a sample trip it could not tell me how long the wait would be or show me where the cars were. I also noticed that Uber has dropped their prices. Does Uber want to drive Hovr out of business, and then raise the prices again?
