Hue Switcher is a third party application designed to enable fun and advanced control of your Philips Hue Bridge Lighting System.

Manage Light Groups: • Lava Lamp: Choose from 40+ custom designed Lava Scenes or Music Effects or create your own! • Auto Color Generator allows you to create and place a pattern of colors onto any size Light Group. • Create, Delete, Retrieve and Rename Light Groups on your Philips Hue Bridge. • Lights can be assigned to more than one Light Group.
Accessory Programming: • Create trigger events using many different options for Hue accessories such as the Hue Tap, Dimmer Switch, and Motion Sensor.
Scenes: • Create Scenes with unique settings for every Light in the specified Light Group. • Save Scenes to sliding bars that can be assigned to different Rooms in your home. • Scenes are automatically saved to your Philips Hue Bridge using the current Light settings - Hue Bridge snapshots exactly what your lights look like upon creation to retrieve later • Set Transition Times (0.2 seconds - 60 minutes) to gradually fade lights on or off.
Rooms: • Create Rooms to house different collections of scene sliders. • Dimmer switches each control a unique Scene saved to your Philips Hue Bridge. • NOTE: Hue Switcher Rooms are not related at all to the Philips Hue API Rooms. Rooms are stored locally in the app to lessen Light Group / Room confusion generated by the official application.
Scene Light Schedules: • Create Light Schedules to trigger Scenes at certain times of the day, recurring on all or certain days of the week. • Automate your Entry Way lights, Back Yard lights, Front Porch, Balcony, Aquarium, etc... • Create a "Light Alarm Clock" by triggering a scene with a 5 minute Transition Time in the morning.

Why do I love this app? Because it seems to be the only one that makes it super easy to do something that should be so basic---ADD FADE TIMES TO YOUR SCENES! Why is this so hard everywhere else? I have a movie theater scene for example and I want the lights to transition over 20 seconds. Good luck making that happen with the official Hue app or any other app I've tried. Here, you just create the scene and then choose the transition time. So well done there!! Now, would it be possible to add the option to edit EXISTING scenes on the bridge, i.e. change the transition times for scenes created with the Hue app or other apps? The only reason for this is that if you want to use Alexa if IFTT to control scenes, they have to be created within the god-awful official Philips Hue app, which offers no ability to add transition times for the scenes. So you're stuck with instantaneous scene changes if you go that route. If this app could just edit the transition time, then I would give it 1,000 stars.

Does not connect to bulbs with the app. Get the phillips bulbs and wiz app.Controls as many as you have at once and has so many preset color flow options. Uses your own wifi. You can even set wakeup and sleep modes. Dont waste your time with these.

No longer connects to bridge. Unlocked S20 ultra. Used to work great. Clearing app data doesn't work. Uninstall and reinstall desn't work. Other apps connect to the bridge just fine, so it's an app issue. Disappointing. Edit: my wife uses an unlocked S20 plus and the app doesn't work on her phone as well.

I had this app rated as 5 stars before because it was a free app with basically every lava you can imagine and edit and everything, but now I just found out you need a premium upgrade to change lavas and unlock some lavas??? the whole point of this app was that it was free, it was one of its kind but I guess it's just like any other app now. the ads I don't mind but you have to pay?? cmon man
