Turning on or off of your Hue lights has never been so easy. Just select a group or light, and your actions are limited to this. The integrated brightness control provides you for every situation in your daily life an appropriate brightness level. So you can use your lights quickly as a nightlight, subtle lighting while watching TV, as normal lighting or very bright lighting. In addition, the widget contains a random button. Be inspired by the random button by leaving your Hue lights shine in random colors.
The app itself allows you to configure your widget. You can choose wether Lights, Groups or Scenes can be controlled via the widget. In addition, you can set which lamps, groups and scenes to be displayed in the widget.
Lights Control your Philips Hue Lights fast and easy. Use the Widget to turn specific lights on or off. The app allows you to assign a color to your lights.
Groups You can easy manage your groups. Create new groups or remove them. Do not worry if you use multiple devices to control your lights. The groups are saved on your Bridge and are available for all your devices. The app allows you to assign a color to your groups.
Scenes The app shows you all the scenes which are stored on your Bridge. You can pick out your favorite scenes to display them in the widget.

Absolutely the top Hue app This app has all you could want to control your hue lights, especially after the new update. Crashes have been fixed, and the newly added controls are great. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 is that in the new update you must click the on button to turn lights on instead of being able to just hit the desired brightness. If the dev makes the brightness control turn on the lights like it did previously, 5 stars all the way.

after finaly getting the app to connect with the bridge, i have issues that every time i try to create a widget it crashes the app! so disappointed in this app!

Request a refund. This app does not work. You cannot makes widgets, and the supplied ones don't work properly. The random setting is the same every time, and it takes a different app to get rid of it. Terrible.

Great, when it works... The best widget, with EVERY feature I want and need.It let's you know when lights are on, has dimmer buttons, scenes, the whole bit. It will not stay configured. If i leave my home network and return the widget is mostly blank and unusable when i return forcing me to remove and replace it every time i need to use it. It now will not stay configured when I turn the screen off. This makes it completely unusable.
