I love it when Choice Script CYA novel is gamified like this; customization, stats, etc. All Lumina side jobs is bugged; they don't pay (except selling the monster egg), and you can repeat the choice, like it's not properly flagged as finished. Early on, you can maximize Wits and Occult thanks to a similar bug

Finished playing it, and I must say this is peak and well detailed, the writer makes it very detailed that even the slightest mistake can't be found

The game really seems to demand that you build your stats around what it requires for the story, which is something only the author could possibly know. It doesn't really let you build around the sort of flavorful archetypes that the source material is known for. I even checked the scene files to make sure I wasn't just bad at it and missing opportunities. It's just stat railroaded. I couldn't get into it for that reason, and it was really expensive in comparison to other CoG offerings.

Why does every Hunter: The Reckoning game suck? This one straight up doesn't even have the same text as the screenshots shown here. The real text reads like a teenager wrote it. Don't waste your time or money.

It is set in California, nonsense in it (granted, you can block some of the nonsense by making specific characters male or female.) and a discounted price in the over $10 range. So after the 25th, you'll have to cough up quite a bit of cash. The high price is part of my complaint. Message, message. This story was typed by a Californian. "I only know the thing that God has whispered to me. He says that cops can't be trusted." .... Dialogue typed in script style/format.
