Description by Airways New Zealand(from Google Play)
There is no excuse for not consulting NOTAM and MET reports prior to your flight! This app makes this easier on your mobile device. With IFIS Mobile you can view all NOTAM relevant to flights in New Zealand, i.e. all NZ Aerodrome and Enroute NOTAM. It provides the ability to retrieve NOTAM for one or more NZ Briefing Areas, or to filter the NOTAM specific to the route that you are flying. In addition, retrieved NOTAM can be viewed via a resizable map.
IFIS Mobile also provides easy access via a resizable map to NZZC SIGMET and to ATIS, TAF and METAR reports for NZ aerodromes.
IFIS Mobile is provided for private/recreational on-the-ground use in New Zealand only. It may not be used in the context of any commercial aviation activity.
Features: - Provides access to NZ NOTAM in the equivalent of Area, Aerodrome or Route Pre-Flight Briefings. - Displays NOTAM via a resizable map. - Provides a NOTAM ‘Watch’ facility to enable users to get notifications when NOTAM are issued for locations contained in the user’s current NOTAM request. - Provides access to ATIS, TAF, METAR reports for a chosen location, and to NZZC SIGMET reports.

★★★★★
Great app but it would benefit from a function displaying signet areas in graphical form. Deciphering signets from lat longs is extremely tedious and slow.
★★☆☆☆
Unable to use this app at all. It won't let me create a username to log in. Android 11 on Samsung A72
★★☆☆☆
Did not download it, as it asks for permission to access my photos, among other things. WHY? Location obviously, but photos????? When this app was first issued a couple of years ago, it was a miserable failure. Looks from other reviews like not much has changed, but I would give it another try if it didn't want to access personal stuff, and didn't need an account. Fail.
★★☆☆☆
HORRIBLE! WHY do I need an account? WHY!? I don't WANT an account, I just want the info. STOP forcing users to have a $&^*%#$ account for every piece of information, especially when it's safety related. But even if you do create an account and log in (only to be frustrated by the illogical UI) and then close the app again and want to log in again, you CAN'T. It's comes up with a "User unknown" error. Seriously!? Working (well, kind of) one minute, gone the next. Another miserable failure.
