Great for practicing situational awareness in radial intercepts and entering holds. I personally can't stand subscriptions but would purchase the lifetime access if it weren't so crazy expensive. The free version offers pretty good practice on It's own though.

I am not a pilot (but have always dreamed of being one since my youth, but life had other plans for me ~ I'm 58 now), but must admit that this IFR simulator app is highly addictive. It is also very satisfying when coming in on an approach and landing the plane successfully. I especially like the map that is displayed after your flight, showing the plane's trajectory to and from the airport.

Update-talked to developer, and it seems as though some avionics display the roll pointer/bank scale differently! Dev is adding selection feature! Overall great app for understanding how to use an HSI, determine position, intercept courses etc. One star has been removed though because the roll pointer operates incorrectly. In a right turn, pitch bar and roll pointer should both move to the right. However, the roll pointer goes to the left. Easy to disregard, but should be aware it's incorrect.

Your subscription model will kill your app. I've had it for years and lately has lost all its appeal. The free version used to have good features without being behind a paywall but now is ridiculous. $5 a month or $159.99 lifetime (excluding the sale offer) for this app? X-Plane 11 is at $30 and X-Plane 12 is at $36.99 on Steam. You could argue that if you don't have a computer for a sim you might choose the app, but if you are in aviation you do and will have the resources for it. Uninstalling.

Unplayable. The ad banner is over the key control buttons at the bottom. I tried it again after a year or two to see if they had improved it but no, it is still completely unplayable with the ad banner over the bottom of the screen where the controls are, and you can't get rid of the banner. What on earth is the point of developing an app, which has ads which aren't just an annoyance, but which make the app unplayable! Pointless.
