Thid app needs improving. It is great, and it is secure, and it is easy to use. However, it keeps telling me I am offline and to set up an additional layer of security. This is simply not true. I have tried several networks, and it is also the only banking app (I use three in total) to tell me I am offline pretty much all the time. If you want me to set up an additional or alternative layer of security, you can ask explicitly for it to be done. Edit: now works perfectly, and I am very happy with it!

App has an English version, but zero support for English speakers. I am currently abroad, locked out of the app, and completely abandoned by Intesa Sanpaolo. The app's recovery system failed, my branch has ignored my messages, and the official 'assistenza' email address has left me with zero response for days. Worst of all, the telephone Digital Branch is entirely AI-operated in fast Italian only, making it impossible for someone with limited Italian to get help. Shocking customer service.

The worst bank app. Blocked itself for a technical issue leaving me without access to my saving (Salvadanaio) and it's been 3 days since I am trying to resolve it with bank support. Choose another bank unless you have to use this one.

The sms notification became a paid service all of a sudden. When trying to deactivate sms notifications, the "save" button stops working... what a convenient bug! I will deactivate my banking account as soon as possible!

Couldn't pay my tuition fee on the deadline day because of "insufficient funds", which was of course BS! I had many times more money in my account than needed. And there is no such limit in my card or account, of course. And I had recently paid more amount than that for another service without any problem. The stability of using intesa sanpaolo is so random that I don't rely on it anymore. Fortunately, I have another payment method which enabled me to pay without any surprises, as always.
