Description
I wrote this application primarily to address questions to myself: 'How free am I in my actions?' and 'Does real free will exist?' These are timeless philosophical questions, but with technological advancements, they gain practical significance.
Let's conduct a thought experiment. Imagine you are standing on a crowded street in a big city. People are passing by in a wide stream on either side of you. You randomly choose one of the many people walking past and suddenly grab their hand. What will their reaction be? Will it be surprise? Fear? Aggression? Joy? Obviously, the reaction will depend on a multitude of factors influencing the person at that particular moment, such as their temperament, mood, whether they are hungry or tired, how busy they are, their social status, whether they have certain medical conditions... even the weather—countless factors. These factors overlap, intertwine in strange ways, and shape the reaction to an event at that specific point in time. In simpler terms: A person's reaction to any stimulus can be described as a function, where the input parameters are a fixed number of arguments. If we take this as a working hypothesis, then, clearly, knowing this function and inputting the biometric data of the person at a given moment, we will get a specific result at the output, meaning we can predict the person's behavior. Moreover, by controlling one or another input parameter of the function (for example, the amount of sleep), we can adjust the person's behavior, so to speak, 'program' them. Of course, not indefinitely, but for a certain period of time. As for me, it already looks interesting, doesn't it? So, taking inspiration from the ancient pioneers of science, I've begun conducting experiments on myself :)
Well, overall, that's how this program was written. What it can offer for now is: 1. On one hand, it's a regular diary where you can jot down your thoughts, add photos, documents, and more. 2. On the other hand, you are invited to choose 15 (to start) indicators that, in your opinion, can affect your life. Things like sleep duration or the number of steps taken, amount of money spent, or sandwiches eaten, time spent on sports or love. Anything your imagination suggests. 3. Enter the values of your selected indicators daily into the application to obtain a statistically significant dataset. 4. The app includes some tools for statistical research, which I plan to expand over time. You can analyze your data within the app or export it into spreadsheets for external analysis with any tool you prefer. The use of artificial intelligence here undoubtedly appears promising. 5. This application is just a search tool, not a ready-made answer. So let's search!
Recent changes: 1. Minor interface changes. 2. Bug fixes.
