I am not sure what everybody is writing it took me about 15 minutes to
figure out how to operate the app I will omit that it's hard to figure out
because it does not explain how to use the app but once I figured it out
this app works awesome if you take the time to figure it out you'll see the
app works good I am using a LG phone and I have the ion air pro lite Wi-Fi

so at first with the original Wi-Fi pod that came with the camera no success on connecting to my phone my wife had button an additional Wi-Fi pod not knowing the camera came with one use the new one and am so stoked totally satisfied with this Ion camera

On Android, do not try to connect through the app first. Go into the network settings and forget the network if you tried through the app. 1st step is to connect directly through your wifi settings and then you open the app to connect. I had no issues after that. I'm only using the app to adjust my view on the helmet evry few weeks or if I bump it during a ride, so quality is not not high on my list of priorities. The app does what i need it to. I'm on a Moto G6 and original Ion Air Pro.

Just doesn't work. This just won't work on my Samsung galaxy s8. I can't add the air Pro lite at all. I can connect to the wifipodz but I cannot add the camera in the app.

App downloads fine. App is easy to understand. However, app doesn't work! Followed the easy to follow instructions but the password to use that connects to your camera wifi is not valid. Always get the " invalid password" notification. This is consistent with my android phone and my iPad. 2 different operating systems, but same result. I am reading other reviews of this same problem. Other reviews are more that half a year old. Does Ion have financial problems that prevent them from fixing a simple issue? It's too bad because this is actually a pretty good product physically. Better than a pricey Go-Pro. Easier to use. Too bad Ion is so slow to react. I feel there are major underlying problems with Ion. Will Ion be around for long? Probably not.
