You will need your TV's IP Address and a Pre-Shared Key (PSK). Check your IP: From the Sony 'Home' go to 'Settings' - 'Network' - 'Advanced settings' - 'Network status' and you will find it listed next to 'IP Address'. Set up PSK: From the Sony 'Home' go to 'settings' - 'Network' - 'Home Network Setup' - 'IP control'. Set 'Authentication' to "Normal and Pre-Shared Key", go back a page and under 'Pre-Shared Key' create your PSK. Input these settings into the app and away you go. Hpe this helps

At first, I thought the app was a dud, but I figured out how to make it work. First, in the settings for the remote, you need to add the IP address of the TV (find it in the network section of tv settings). Second, you need to add a PSK (pre shared key). This has to be set in your TV first. Once you set on the TV, you can add it to the settings for the remote. Once I did both, it worked immediately.

This app does nothing with no instructions on how to get the ports or ip address from a tv I do not own which is only owned by a none profit organization with no access to the tv remote
