Recently purchased jio motive and activated. Really enjoying the obd device and especially gps where I'm tracking my driver on the go and driving parameters. All others diagnostica are more related to mechanical.

It hasn’t even been a month, and after the recent app update on June 30, 2026, Jio Motive device started malfunctioning. All the LEDs suddenly go offline, trip information is no longer being captured and the ignition status is not updating, and no other information is being displayed. I tried contacting customer care, but the response hasn’t been very helpful and no clear workaround has been provided to actually resolve the issue.
My Jio Bharat phone fell in water. I had to purchase a Jio Bharat phone, and then I inserted the old sim in my new phone, it is not allowing me to register on the new phone. Since the old phone is not reparable, it is now impossible to register on the new phone. Pathetic service, zero common sense!

The recent update has made the Jottings app less user-friendly. Earlier, the geo-fence was clearly visible as a blue circle on the map with a 50-meter radius, making it easy to see the boundary at a glance. After the update, the geo-fence is no longer visible on the map, and we have to search for it manually, which is inconvenient. Also, the geo-fence radius has been changed from 50 meters to 100 meters, reducing tracking precision. The previous 50-meter geo-fence was much more useful and accurate
