Works as advertised Of only we didn't have to do this in Android, but it's good to have a utility that makes it easy to fix. Although the app didn't help me to change the fonts, it helped me figured out how to do it. Don't know if the issue is related to my Android version (5.0) or something else, but the font management was made in /system/etc/fonts.xml instead of /system/etc/fallback_fonts.xml, so the app was trying to access the wrong file. Might have worked for other Android version

My brand new Xiaomi phone is forcing Chinese variants (hanzi) on me when I'm typing and reading in Japanese. I'm on Android 12 (MIUI 13) but I can't use this app to fix them because it claims this isn't a problem past Android 7, but it clearly still is. MIUI 13 doesn't allow adding secondary languages.
