Works good for me. If I cannot connect, I turn the camera off and on, and it has connected every time. Using Kenwood DVR-A510WDP camera and S26 phone. It would be better if the video didn't buffer so much in playback, but it downloads a one-minute video in about one minute. I turned the camera off, removed the card, and it plays in a card reader plugged into my phone.

Great app IF you disable any in car wireless connectivity !!! I was hesitant to use this app based on other reviews but decided to try. Like many others, I could not get this app to connect to the camera... but then I noticed my Android Auto app kept disconnecting from the car when trying to connect to the camera. So I disabled the wireless in my car. After disabling my cars wireless I was able to connect the app to camera and use the app without any issues.

Update 2023 still no problems, although you have to format every week or so no big deal. Cam has captured a couple accidents so far still running strong. Works! You have to connect using Wi-Fi first, then open app... the other way it never connects. Camera itself is great, typical Kenwood quality have had it a couple of weeks now no problems and highly recommend.

Every time I try to connect to the dash cam, it tells me the pin I set is wrong, but it shows connected but can't download anything, very poor from a respected brand like Kenwood.

Absolutely worthless. Waste of money on this camera since you can't ever connect it to phone. You could do better with $30 Walmart camera which actually connects. Very disappointing....

It doesn't connect at all.followed the instructions, and it kept searching for dashcam forever
