The lock and knob instructions are detailed and easy to understand. Old lock out, and new lock installed in 20 minutes. Connection to Wi-Fi was a breeze.

App does not stay connected to the lock. Must bring the phone close to the door/device to reconnect every time. Otherwise, it seems like it will work great if this issue is resolved. I want to be able to open the door for visitors/family if I'm not home by allowing them in when I use the app.

App disconnecting from lock after 1 day. I installed lock and app last week. Worked great for 1 or 2 days. Then app stopped updating events and can't add new pins or fingerprints. Contacted support and was told to unbind, reset and start over again. This fixed the problem but a day later, same thing, no events, no new pins or fingerprints and can't even change Wi-Fi. This is ridiculous as I can't be doing this every other day. Is it the lock or the app? When app works, it is good, but ....

Veise VE017-L Entry lock requires the optional Gateway & Smart Plug G1 for internet connection. After installing both Gateway module and Veise Smart Lock. The lock is detected and works from the KK Home app. But does not work with Google Home App. Google reports: Something went wrong.
