Before you leave a review upgrade the firmware on your cam. The KPT892 is my 10th dash cam so far and it's been a pretty good product for the most part. Fairly easy to set up and use. I won't review the camera here because this is an app store. App works, provides the functions you need. Live view helps with setup. Viewing footage is fairly straight forward and so is getting it onto your phone. App is sluggish and can get unresponsive at times. Ok selection of options but could do with more.

App is good. Works really well, however the only thing stopping my from giving this five stars is the fact that I changed the password for the Wi-Fi, and now I cannot connect to the camera anymore. This makes the app useless, and I can't change any of the settings. PLEASE add a confirmation password field and a show password option!! It's simple and will prevent this from ever happening again!

Biggest piece of rubbish I have ever wasted my money on it will not connect to the app, it will not connect Wi-Fi no matter how I change the settings, it is constantly asking for security card, the website there is nowhere to find the firmware update that I am told that I need for it to work properly nor does it show how to download it to the camera, it is supposed to be so easy to install but I am having nothing but issues, and it is driving me crazy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.

As soon as I updated the firmware for kpt 892, the rear camera stopped working. I thought it was a hardware issue, so I tested it on a second unit that didn't have a firmware update, all was fine until I updated the second unit. Now I have 2 sets of rear cameras not working. Please find a fix for this bug

App quits every time you click on photo or video or accident in the DVR tab even after updating firmware in the device.

The app is really disappointing. I am not able to access the video saved in the camera via Wi-Fi. You need to up your game. I am never going to buy another capture dashcam and i won't recommend anyone to buy it.
