Perfectly accurate free digital compass. It's nice that it has a clear background through the camera view, so you can hold your phone over maps or landmarks and determine hiking directions.

Every other app on my phone increases the screen brightness when outside. This thing dims the screen so it's unreadable. It's not good when I only use it outside.

Doesn't show camera view despite permissions. Earlier I could capture photos of directions with camera, now inspire of turning on permissions for camera n location all I get is a brown screen. Might have to delete this if not rectified

I can't recommend this app anymore. I was using for several years, but at some point they added intrusive ads when you start up the app that took up the entire screen and couldn't be skipped. Get out of here with that nonsense. I switched to another compass app developer that doesn't do that.
