Comments on KTXS Weather for Android

★★★★★ Laura Patino · May 26, 2025

I have always used the weather channel app for my forecast. A friend of mine recommended KTXS weather app, and it's been by far the best. I love that I get a voice notification on a heavy weather alert. It's now my go to.

★★★★★ Barbara A Weeks · May 26, 2026

As subscriber to weather radar, able to access details of local weather when it's happening, as former storm watcher I really appreciate that.

★★★★★ Cindy Sue Bevel · May 23, 2025

I lived in Abilene and loved this app there. I moved to East Texas and love this app even more. My husband is a truck driver, and he uses it everywhere he goes. Very accurate no matter where we are. Thank you so much for this app.

★★★★★ James Bagby (Jamesab1286) · Feb 16, 2024

Best weather app, I like how it lets you know when there are severe storms in the area and where it's located

★☆☆☆☆ Google User · Jul 19, 2025

Warning, of all the apps on my phone, this app is the worst for TRACKING YOUR ACTIVITY as evidenced by installed tracking blocking software. 11-2-2022, 157 tracking attempts blocked from this app in 1 hour. July 2025. Tracking still going Strong!

★☆☆☆☆ Corey R · Aug 4, 2025

As soon as I press the Past/future button, it sticks on future, and no longer can I view anything but future cast. I have uninstalled multiple times. No longer a viable app for me.

★☆☆☆☆ James Hardin · May 31, 2024

Oh my God. Late. Lies. Waste of storage and data. Can't ever trust your radar. Played with an app from New Zealand. Far more accurate. Your news and sports are literally weeks old goodbye again 5th time

★☆☆☆☆ Matt Short · Jul 8, 2026

You guys don't have a clue what the weather is going to do. It's all about ad clicks. Every day, you guys put 5-10% chance of rain. Wouldn't be surprised one bit if they close down the local station all together. Best part is when it actually does rain someone changes it from 5% to 100% real quick.

This app does not give weather alerts even with alerts turned on. I hate that.
