Lapcount

Lapcount is a lap counter and split timer for the pool, the track, or any loop you repeat. Tell it how long one lap is, start the clock, and tap the large LAP area each time you finish a length. Every tap becomes a split, and a bar chart builds up lap by lap so you can see at a glance whether you are holding your pace or fading.

How it works
Pick a lap length: 25 m or 50 m pools, a 25 yd pool, 200 m or 400 m tracks, or type any custom length in meters or yards. Choose Swim to get pace per 100 m (or per 100 yd), or Run or ride to get pace per km or per mile. Add a target if you like, either a number of laps or a distance, and Lapcount works out how many laps that means and counts down for you.

While you move, the live screen shows total time, the lap in progress, your last lap, average lap, laps done and laps left, distance covered and current pace. A short vibration confirms each lap and a longer one tells you the target is done. Tapped twice by accident? Taps less than a second apart count once, and Undo removes the last lap. Pause stops the clock and paused time is never counted.

The timer runs from the clock, not from the screen, so switching apps, locking the phone or closing the app does not lose time. The screen can stay on while a session runs.

Your sessions are kept only in the app's own storage on this phone. Lapcount has no account, no ads and no internet access, so your laps go nowhere unless you choose to share them.
