LEAPWELL is an offline-first mobile platform for frontline Community Health Workers (CHWs) in rural Bangladesh.

Built for low-connectivity field environments, the app supports Swasthya Kormis as they manage household visits, maternal health, child wellness, non-communicable disease follow-up, referrals, and programme-based assessments.

Voice-First AI Documentation
AI Scribe helps reduce manual data entry during consultations. CHWs can speak naturally with patients in Bengali or English, and the app can transcribe the conversation, extract relevant clinical findings, and pre-fill assessment fields for review. AI-generated outputs include supporting observations, confidence indicators, and review status so information can be checked before saving.

Intelligent Patient Prioritisation
The dashboard helps CHWs organise daily visits by clinical urgency and follow-up need. Patient ordering can consider programme rules, danger signs, blood pressure, haemoglobin, blood glucose, gestational age, comorbidities, pregnancy status, and overdue follow-ups. Filters for village, programme, and care needs help CHWs plan field work efficiently.

AI Visit Briefing
Before a visit, AI-generated briefing cards help CHWs prepare with:
- Before You Knock: a concise summary of key patient concerns
- Today’s Priorities: actionable prompts for follow-up needs and recent vitals
- Suggested Discussion Points: culturally appropriate conversation prompts based on the patient context

Offline-First and Secure
Core workflows are designed to work in low-connectivity settings, including patient records, household information, assessment history, programme forms, and clinical decision support. Data is stored in an encrypted local database using a per-device key protected by Android secure storage. Biometric authentication and PIN-based access support secure field use, while synchronisation updates records when connectivity is available.

Household-Centred Care
LEAPWELL treats the household as the primary unit of care. CHWs can view household members together, identify care needs across family members, and coordinate follow-up visits at the household level.

Training and Coaching Support
The app includes coaching and knowledge resources for CHWs in the field. Cached training content remains available offline after sync, while connected assistant features can provide protocol-based support when the relevant service is available.

LEAPWELL is intended for authorised community health programme teams. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. CHWs should follow approved programme protocols and consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
