This "app" is a godsend. Really it's just an extremely coherent pocket guide to Japanese grammar, but it's exactly what I needed. For a serious learner, I recommend spending a month or two intensively studying Japanese on Duolingo before opening this app for the first time, because by that point you will have a ton of all the right questions bouncing through your mind about what you've been practicing, and this guide will help all those puzzle pieces fall into place.

I've just started using this app, and it seems like a good port of the other versions, but it's absolutely impossible to find in your app drawer based on common names you think you would try. I wanted to add it to my home screen but searching for japanese, learning, Tae Kim... None of these give a result. I had to scroll through my entire app list looking for the icon, only to find it at the very bottom because the title is in Japanese. Just an annoyance that could be fixed by renaming the app.

Honestly it's hot garbage. User interface is not friendly whatsoever. Using this is like going through a poorly made mobile site and needs far more work. Though the descriptions are good, and I think the site is good, this app is an absolute mess.
