The use of the LIEbikes is user-friendly and simple: With the LIEbike app, every user can register with just a few steps, choose the duration of use from 30 minutes to a year's subscription, scan the QR code and start riding right away.
The use of the LIEbikes is controlled by the app, why registration is necessary in advance. It should be noted that the registration must be confirmed, why it is recommended to download the app and complete the registration before use.
This is how you get going: 1. Download the app and register: all you need is a driving licence, ID or passport and a valid credit card. The LIEbike team will check your personal information and send you a confirmation as soon as possible. 2. Locate a station near you. The locations of the LIEbike stations can be found on the app. 3. Select an e-bike and scan the QR code on the bike. 4. Select the support mode from 1 to 5 on the display. 5. Start riding! 6. Park the e-bike at a LIEbike station: You can return the LIEbikes to a station near you. Please make sure that the e-bike is returned correctly. 7. End ride: To end the ride, scan the QR code at the LIEbike station. 8. Close the lock manually: Please make sure that the e-bike is locked correctly.

Wasn't able to register. I was never sent a sms sign up code despite repeated attempts, and there's no other way to use the app. Very disappointing.

The app didn't let me end/pause the ride. It was the weekend, so there was no way to reach the support. More than a month after I sent multiple messages to the support, I got no reply. Disgusting way to make customers pay more as it is charged by minutes, and we spent hours trying to return the bike with the lock that wasn't working. In the end, police was contacted.
